The Non-Violence Project symbol represents a universal idea of peace and non violence. It speaks louder than words, across all cultures, religions, and ages. The sculpture can be found in over thirty strategic public locations around the world, including the UN Headquarters in New York City, the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, and the Peace Park in Beijing.
The Non-Violence Project (NVP) is a Swissbased nonprofit organization and has since it was launched in 1993 invested $50 million in violence prevention programs. The foundation is financed through sponsorships, donations, and license revenues.
Promoting the values of selfesteem, conflict management and nonviolence, the program helps young people to understand them selves, their friends, and the adults in their lives, and to come up with peaceful solutions to problems that are more likely to work for everyone.
